Der zweite Bundespraesident, der mit Interessen zu tun hat, nur das sie bei ihm voellig harmlos und die eigenen sind. Im anderen Fall war nur der Bundespraesident harmlos. Was war denn der Krieg in Libyen?

Many people in Afghanistan can now live their lives without the fear of being tortured or killed or having their wives or daughters tortured, raped and killed. Not all, but many. Every day they have a little bit more dignity and self determination in their lives. Women can choose to come out from behind the head to toe religious garments they were forced to wear under penalty of death. Children are once again attending schools and preparing themselves to become the future of Afghanistan, one unburned book at a time. Among these children are young girls, a portion of the population not allowed to be educated under the Taliban.

We are Americans. We've never been shy about spilling our blood for the betterment of the world and our fellow man. If ever there were good reasons to do so in Afghanistan, these are among them.
