With New Media "EMERGING", will old values be SUBMERGING?

I am Danny Schechter, known as the "News Dissector", a filmmaker, troublemaker and blogger here at Prix Europa to discuss the way our media landscape is changing, and digitizing, in ways that open up new possibilities for citizen interaction while impacting in often negative ways on the future of journalism.

Is the digital overload leading to less comprehension, a speeding up of short bites of "twiterized" bytes with less context, background and meaning? I will be discussing my work as editor of Mediachannel.org, a global platform for media analysis on a panel on Tuesday evening. Please come and take part. I would drone on more here but I am not used to the German keyboard and feel I am taking too long to say too little. So please join our conversation-
