Mit seinem Markenzeichen, der detaillierten Inszenierung, ist Virgin Mary. Supermarkets. Popcorn. Photographs 1999-2020 die bis dato umfangreichste Sammlung von Aldridges Arbeiten. Zu sehen sind über 80 Fotografien, darunter Werke aus „(after Cattelan)“ (in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Künstler Maurizio Cattelan) und seine „Immaculée“-Serie, in der moderne Models als religiöse Figuren dargestellt werden. Auch Porträts von kulturellen Größen wie Donatella Versace und Ralph Fiennes sind dabei, die in Aldridges leicht surrealer, aber immer verführerischer Welt leben. Wie es sich für einen wahren Visionär gehört, gelingt es Aldridge immer wieder, die Realität, die er fotografiert, so zurechtzubiegen, dass sie in seine überlebensgroße Perspektive passt.
