Die Sängerinnen Natalia Kachura und Margarita Lisovina stammen aus der Oblast Donezk. Der Clip wurde letztes Jahr auf der Anhöhe von Savur-Mohyla aufgenommen. Der Hügel war im 2. WK Schlachtfeld zwischen sowjetischen Truppen und den nationalsozialistischen Streitkräften. Ein Denkmal erinnert an die gefallenen sowjetischen Soldaten, die im Zuge des deutschen Angriffskrieges ihr Leben verloren.
70 Jahre später stand die Anhöhe erneut im Brennpunkt kriegerischer Ereignisse. Nach dem Putsch in Kiew 2014 kämpften ukrainische Truppen gegen die abtrünnigen Volksrepubliken im Donbas. Bei den Kämpfen wurden Teile des Denkmals zerstört. Ein trauriges Kapitel in der Geschichte dieser Region, das mit der Bombardierung des gemeinsamen Mahnmals seinen vorläufigen Höhepunkt fand.
Bei dem Songtext sollte zwischen den Zeilen gelesen werden. Die meisten Menschen im Westen haben gar keine Ahnung davon, wie sehr der 2. Weltkrieg in Russland, sowie allen anderen von NAZI-Deutschland angegriffenen Ländern, Narben hinterlassen hat _ auch bei der Nachkriegsgeneration sowie heute jungen Generation. Dem Nachkriegs-Deutschland wurde vergeben _ aber vergessen wird nie. Aktuell sowieso nicht angesichts der deutschen Politik ggü. der RF. So sollte nicht wundern, dass alle Sanktionen und mediale Hetze gegen die RF bei der Bevölkerung genau das Gegenteil vom gewünschten Ziel bewirken werden. Eine Zerstörung Russlands wird nicht so einfach sein. Das meinte wohl der o.g. Russe mit seinen Worten.
